Press release – Giuseppe’s Baking Classes

I am very happy to share the below press release from my good friend Giuseppe Dell’Anno, the first (and only!) Italian winner of the much loved show the Great British Bake Off. I had the pleasure to meet Giuseppe ‘virtually’ first and then in person at the launch of his first fabulous cook book Giuseppe’s Italian Bakes and, since we have a few things in common (from recipe traditions to lifestyle) we kept in touch.

Not only he’s since published a second cook book from which I am baking my whole way through, he’s also just launched baking classes in the stunning Cotswolds. More details below, and I couldn’t recommend attending one more! Giuseppe is not only a talented baker (obviously) but a super nice human and very engaging when speaking to a live audience!

What to expect

Giuseppe Dell’Anno won hearts the world over when he was crowned winner of the Great British
Bake Off 2021. Giuseppe’s ultimate ambition is to enable everybody, including those with little or no
baking experience, to produce good cakes, well-made biscuits, and delectable treats without
too much effort or time-dedication.

Giuseppe has now launched his very own baking classes, where he aims to share his skill
knowledge, and love of baking, born from growing up in Italy and learning to cook at the side of hisbeloved chef-father.

His classes are packed with simple, robust recipes that work, with plenty of easy bakes that his
father would prepare for the family with less than one hour’s notice, and with whatever ingredients
were available in his cupboard. The recipes cater for cake lovers as well as gluten-free bakers, with many
ideas to sweeten up your elevenses.

How to sign up
The classes are held at The Foodworks Cookery School, a purpose-built, light and airy venue in the
heart of the Cotswolds, just outside Cheltenham
